About two weeks ago I realized that if I don’t get serious about certain things, life is just going to suck. I decided that regular exercise is the first step, mostly because the improved energy and mental state will give me an advantage in anything else. I’m not doing well with my two-on one-off schedule, but today I did manage to jog on a treadmill for twenty minutes solid without stopping. I was a sweaty nasty mess! It’s a big difference from senior year of highschool, but still better from my college days when I hit 250 pounds.
In other news, I made some real progress on my speakers! I wired up the crossovers (the part that separates the high and low frequency sounds between the tweeter and the woofer), and I figured out how to use a borrowed tool to produce round holes in wood of just the right depth to flush-mount the tweeters. That’s probably the hardest part, since I’ve never done that before and it takes some precision to get right. I hope to put up some photos soon, but you know how busy it is around here.
