I’m excited! Kendra and I want to go to see Weezer on April 29th! Tickets go on sale on Sunday. The show is at The Warfield, and that’s kind of a small venue. I’m not sure we can get tickets. If we CAN get tickets, it should be a really kick-ass show.
Also, I was checking out the Weezer website, and it’s kind of cool in a geeky way. They have a page on their site dedicated to describing the equipment they’ve used throughout the history of the band. You can click on different tours and see what type of drums Pay was using in 1998, and read about the cymbal he cracked in 2000.
Do you know that Kendra’s a vegetarian? Her cat, Onyx also seems to be into vegetables. Tonight at dinner she ate brocolli! That’s right, a cat that loves vegetables.
I will blog more later! We’re going to the Exploratorium a week from Saturday.
Wow, you see some weird stuff in the bay area.

I had an OK birthday- not really a big celebration or anything, and I had to work- but it wasn’t a bad day. Kendra gave me a poster by Escher, and it’s hanging on our wall now. I really like it, it’s Three Worlds (it’s the graphic in this post).
We had a surprise visit from our landlord today. He called about 45 minutes before he came over, and we were in bed and the place was a mess. We did a decent job of getting it in shape, but it could have looked a lot nicer. He didn’t call us slobs or anything, so I guess it wasn’t too gross.
Oh, and I finally got closet rods installed for Kendra, and all of the books onto book shelves. We’re getting much closer to finally not living out of boxes. We’re not there yet, and we could really use some more cabinets, but it’s progress. I might take pictures again soon- but it’s not ready.
Kendra just got admitted to Berkeley Graduate school! Congratulations Kendra, I knew you’d make it!
Wow, I have been really busy!
First, I need to give a shout-out to my little sister Lindy. I messed up BIG time for her birthday. Her birthday was february 9th, but I thought it was the 19th- so of course I didn’t wish her a happy birthday until the 19th. I called and left a message saying happy birthday. I talked to her later, though, and she didn’t seem too mad. Sorry, Lindy. Happy belated birthday!
Since my last post I’ve had all sorts of adventures. Kendra and I have been getting out a LOT. We met her friend Alana here in Berkeley. We also went to a summit on hunger and homelessness at UC Berkeley. It was neat to go to campus and participate in something like that, but it was really low-level. To clarify, it was the sort of thing that you could send high school students to. There wasn’t a lot of discussion of specific policies and laws on the table, or how they would affect people. Kendra’s blog has more about the summit, and what it was like. I’m glad she finally understands why I care about fair-trade coffee beans. I just hope she comes to see how trade practices that hurt other countries can hurt workers in the US. You too- if you’re reading this, go read something else. Like “No Logo”.
Also, I think it’s really funny that Brandon Moore’s website is kung fu grip dot com. I won’t tell you the URL, but I will tell you that it has at least one hyphen in it. One variation is a retro band’s website, and another variation is porno.
One of these days I am going to start posting photos again. I have a few good ones, including some with Kendra doing silly things. I can’t really post them, though, or she’d be even more defensive of having her picture taken.
That’s all for now. Oh, and I guess it would be cool to get a T-shirt with “This is not a T-shirt” printed on it.
